One of my best (and oldest – we became friends when we were 5 years old) friends came out to visit us Nov 12th. She has 3 beautiful daughters of her own but came down alone this trip to meet Reagan. We usually get to see her about once a year when we are up visiting friends & family in California but it was nice to have her all to ourselves and we all loved every minute of seeing her! Having kids changes things so instead of spending the weekend shopping & relaxing, we went to the park & hung out at the house because of nap schedules but (thanks to Derek!) we did get a Moms Night Out which we both deserved :-)So this past Saturday we went out to breakfast and on the way Addison asked “Where is your friend Jennifer?” so I told her she was at home in California with her daughters and their daddy and she said “but I just miss her so much”. Awwwwww. I do too! (Derek says he misses having two mommies at the house so he could just sit back and relax all weekend!).
