My mom is nis

Addison gave me a picture on Friday that she drew for me at school of the two of us with lots of hearts around it. It was so sweet that I brought it to work to display. As I was hanging it up today, I saw that the back of it had some of her schoolwork on it and it said “My mom is nis”. In her kindergarten class, they want them to sound out words and it doesn’t matter how it’s spelled as long as the main sounds are in there. So Nis is her way of sounding out the word “nice”. It was such a fun surprise to find & I just thought it was the sweetest thing! No wonder I love that kid so much!
