Addison has been begging to ride a horse for years. I have looked everywhere and places seem to only accept kids 6 and older. Luckily, we met with a lady who would give Addison lessons but wanted to see how her attention span was first. I knew how that would go! Ha. So we loaded up the whole family (because we all wanted to see this!) and went to the lesson. Addison was very excited but once we arrived seemed even more excited about the dogs, cats and chickens on the farm. She was given a horse named "Sparkles" and got to walk the horse to the training area, clean her shoes, brush her and help put the saddle blanket on & off. Once she was up on the horse though, she said "let's get this horse running!". Her sister was in complete awe the entire time watching her ride and though she kept saying "I scared of horse" before we arrived when the lady asked her if she wanted to get on, she ran through those gates to get to the horse faster than lightening! The good news that even with Addison's extremely short attention span, the lady would like to work with her AND she wants Reagan to come too! That won't be happening of course because Reagan is way too young but it was such an exciting afternoon.:-)
