June was birthday party month! So many of Addi's friends turned 2 and some even turned 3! My baby is growing up too fast and her party is less than 2 months away :-( The birthday parties this year were so different than last year because she seems to understand more of what was going on – she loved every minute of them and certainly looks forward to getting a piece of cake (but hates having to sit there waiting for us to sing Happy Birthday while the cake sits in front of her - I can't blame her there!). She is our little cheerleader though and gets so much joy from clapping and cheering on other kids so it's so much fun for her after the singing is over and she can clap for the birthday girls! One of her friends, Danica, had a party at Rolly Pollies (a little gym place for kids) and Addison had the time of her life there. At one point, they asked everyone to sit down to go over the rules and my crazy child wouldn’t stop playing to sit. She was the only one running around like a maniac while the other children behaved and sat nicely with their parents. Slightly embarrassing but I am getting used to it.
