Oh my goodness has it really been 5 months since this beautiful smiley baby came into our lives?! Today we are going to start her on rice cereal (pictures to come!)! She doesn’t think she is a baby anymore – she tries to hold her own bottle now and really wants to eat “real” food. She grabs for our food & drink and sometimes she is faster than we are and gets it almost in her mouth before I grab it away. At her 4 month appt last month she was 26.5 inches long and 15.5 lbs. A week later she was 15.13 lbs so she has no issues with eating & gaining weight. She is off the charts on height and 75% for weight. She's a big girl that we like to call “healthy”.I will say that this past month has me very worried that Reagan is going to be just as shy as Addison. I was really hoping we would have one outgoing child to balance out the shy one but it doesn’t seem to be working out that way already. If anyone tries to hold Reagan now (and everyone always wants to hold babies!!) she screams. Not just a little scream but a very loud “WHO ARE YOU AND WHY ARE YOU HOLDING ME” scream! She will even do it if someone gets too close and tries to talk to her while I am holding her. She will start with a smile, slowly it will change into the frown (as we call it when the bottom lip starts sticking out) and then the tears and screaming ensue shortly after. Hopefully she will grow out of it :-)
