Last week our family flew into town! It was so great to see them and not an easy trip for our Washington family who had a long drive to the airport plus a 3 hour flight with a 2+ year old and a pregnant momma but we were so happy they were all able to come visit. The weather here had been pretty nice but the week they all flew in, we got up into the 100’s! On the positive side of hot weather – it allowed us to all get in the pool a couple of days and that was a big hit. The heat didn’t slow down the girls any though… they were outside a lot playing in the “park” (as Haley called it – she meant our backyard). We also filled their days with the splash pad, Cabelas (SO much fun for Addison!), reading with Grammy and just playing with all the new toys (at least new to Haley). We discovered that Addison could potentially grow up to be a cheerleader. Her Grammy taught her to say “Ready, set, go!” (She’s not good at the word “ready” yet) and then she would jump around and cheer really loud when Haley would go down the slide. I’m not sure if it was because it was all new people to her but she definitely didn’t want to be the center of attention and even left our dance party to go read books by herself one night. We did get some good video of Poppi dancing though if anyone would like to see it!!
Here are some more pics from the trip. Thanks so much to my friend Christa for coming over one of the days to take a few pictures of all of us – they came out great!
